LOOG® LAUNCHES RECORD PLAYER FOR KIDS

Launched on Record Store Day and in Partnership with Crosley®, The Crosley x Loog Record Player Seeks to Offer Kids One More Way to Fall in Love with Music.

NEW YORK, NY (APRIL 20, 2024) — Children’s guitar brand Loog launched a record player today. The turntable, a limited-edition collab with Crosley, comes equipped with Bluetooth, an illustrated booklet on the story of vinyl, and a 7" single: Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes.

Launched as part of the Record Store Day event, the Crosley x Loog Record Player aims to be kids’ first foray into the magic of tangible album culture, allowing them yet another outlet to fall in love with music.

“We are all about helping kids play, learn and fall in love with music, and I think this little turntable will do just that,” said Rafael Atijas, CEO of Loog. “The little booklet on the Story of Vinyl makes kids understand how sound has vibrations that can be etched onto solid materials to reproduce sound, the Crosely x Loog Record Player lets them actually experience the concept, and the included 7" single (none other than Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes) let’s them experiment with the concept again and again, without putting their parents’ vinyl collection in any danger.”

The Crosley x Loog Record Player also has in-and-out Bluetooth, allowing kids to stream music from devices to the turntable speakers AND stream the vinyl to an external Bluetooth speaker. The turntable plays 33 ÂĽ, 45 and 78 RPM records, has adjustable pitch control, dynamic full-range stereo speakers, an aux input, an RCA output and a headphone jack.

The Crosley x Loog Record Player is exclusively available at loogguitars.com and retails for $149.

LOOG® RELEASES A COMPACT DIGITAL PIANO

Launched On Kickstarter, The Loog Piano Seeks To Further Loog’s Mission To Help Kids Play, Learn And Fall In Love With Music

NEW YORK, NY (SEPTEMBER 26, 2023) — Children’s guitar brand Loog today announced the launch of LOOG PIANO: a portable digital piano for children and grown-ups, with musician-grade sound and design.

The 3-octave digital piano marks the company's first foray into the world of keyboards, and features velocity-sensitive keys, built-in speakers and a built-in rechargeable battery. As with Loog’s signature guitars, it will also ship with chord flashcards and be compatible with the Loog® learning app, known for its game-like exercises to make learning the instrument fun and engaging for kids and adults alike.

“We spent years figuring out what a Loog Piano should be,” explains Rafael Atijas, CEO of Loog. “We wanted the design to be very simple, and we wanted it to sound great. An important decision we made is that the sound engine’s full muscle is devoted to the piano sound. Tone, note attack, decay and air in between notes have been sampled and modeled so that the Loog Piano sounds just like the real thing”.

As with all Loog instruments, the Loog Piano is built with materials that make the instrument enticing for children and grown-ups. Its design features solid wood (sourced from responsibly managed forests) and also a bright red fabric top. “This is a nod to old electric pianos and also a very pragmatic design choice,” Atijas adds. “The sonically transparent fabric allows the built-in speakers to project a beautiful stereo sound from within, emulating the sonic output of an acoustic piano”.

The Loog Piano is currently available for pre-order through a Kickstarter campaign at a discounted price of $249 and is expected to arrive in stores early next year.

FENDER® AND LOOG® TEAM UP TO BRING KID-SIZED, 3-STRING GUITARS TO THE NEXT GENERATION OF PLAYERS

Inspired By Loog’s Mission To Help Kids Play, Learn And Fall In Love With Music, The Fender x Loog Collaboration Celebrates Fender’s Iconic Electric Guitar Models, The Stratocaster® and Telecaster®

NEW YORK, NY (July 27, 2023) — Children’s guitar brand Loog® and Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC), the world’s leading guitar manufacturer, today announced the launch of the Fender x Loog collection, a collaboration featuring kid-sized, versions of Fender’s iconic guitar models. Fender x Loog brings Loog’s signature elements to Fender’s Stratocaster® and Telecaster® guitar designs including 3-strings, one pickup, one knob and Fender’s trademark headstock design - small in size and big in sound. The guitars, manufactured by Loog and designed alongside Fender’s innovative product team, come fully equipped with learning tools including chord flashcards and access to Loog’s learning app, Loog Guitar. The app is available for free in the Apple and Google Play stores and includes video lessons and game-like exercises. Exclusively made for this partnership, the guitars also come with a booklet telling the story of Fender’s first electric guitars.

“I'm very proud of this collaboration. The Fender x Loog collection is a great way to introduce kids to the world of electric guitars and celebrate two of rock ’n’ roll's seminal instruments: the Telecaster® and the Stratocaster®” announced Rafael Atijas, founder and CEO of Loog Guitars. “To work alongside Fender's team on this project has been a pleasure and I'm honored that we were given the opportunity to reimagine these design masterpieces as 3-string electric guitars for children."

The Fender x Loog collection features two models: a mini 3-string Stratocaster® guitar available in black and a mini 3-string Telecaster® guitar available in Fender’s signature Seafoam Green. Both guitars come equipped with a single-coil pickup and a standard ¼  jack that allow them to be plugged into an amplifier. Loog's trademark design element, the slim 3-string fretboard, sets them apart as an ideal choice for children. With chords simplified to only three notes, learning becomes more accessible and less intimidating for young players. Utilizing standard guitar strings and tuning ensures everything learned on a Fender x Loog guitar can be applied on a 6-string guitar as well.

"It was a natural fit to collaborate with Loog, providing young artists with new tools as they take their first step in their musical journeys," said Richard Bussey, VP of Accessories, Lifestyle and Licensing at FMIC. "With a history of supporting music education, Fender and Loog came together to blend Fender's renowned craftsmanship with Loog's mission of teaching children to play. This exciting partnership aims to foster creativity and enhance accessibility for aspiring artists, nurturing the rock stars of tomorrow, one chord at a time."

The Fender x Loog guitars retail at $199.00 and are currently only available in the United States on loogguitars.com, Fender.com and in key retailers nationwide with plans to expand to Europe, Japan and Australia later this year. For product images, click HERE.
