Two New Loog Summer Camps to Keep Kids Busy and Learning while Having Fun
We’ve been busy trying to come up with new, exciting ways in which we can help keep kids entertained and learning during these stay-at-home summer months. We started off with free lessons every Saturday with Lessonface (which are still going on, by the way), then supported artists, teachers and educators with paid live performances on Loog Fest and, finally, launched a new two-week, pay-what-you-can Summer Loog FUNdamentals Camp on Lessonface that exceeded even our wildest expectations.
Ready for more?
Introducing TWO new Loog Summer Camps for July - both are still pay-what-you-can, both are still two weeks, and proceeds from both will still go to camp instructors to help support them during these crazy times. AND - you don’t even need a Loog Guitar for one of them (so go tell a friend!).

Loog Musical Learning Lab with Melissa Salguero (Starts August 3)
Tired of racking your brains trying to come up with cool DIY projects for the kids? What if we took care of it - and threw in some musical science in the mix while we’re at it? Melissa Salguero to the rescue!
Melissa Salguero (2019 Global Teacher Prize FINALIST, 2018 GRAMMY Music Educator Award Recipient, one of our fave people ever), is hosting this three-times-a-week musical science camp where campers learn how to make musical instruments entirely from materials that can be found around the house.
The camp, designed and taught by music teacher dynamo Melissa Salguero will utilize real hands-on craft activities to help students learn about the characteristics of instrument families and the science behind how each generates sound. Following each lesson, campers will make a homemade instrument to apply the concepts learned.
When: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, at 1 pm EDT | 10 am PDT | 7 pm UTC starting August 3
Price: Starts at $59 (suggested per student: $129)
Total spots available: 50
